Dr. William Besson

Dr. Besson is a lifelong resident of Aiken County.  He graduated as valedictorian from Clemson University where he received a bachelors of science degree in microbiology.  He then attended the University of South Carolina School of Medicine where he received his medical degree in 1989.  His internship and residency were completed at the Medical College of Georgia (now Augusta University).  He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and has been licensed in both South Carolina and Georgia.  He served as Chief of Staff at Aiken Regional Medical Centers from 1996-1998 and has served on ARMC’s Board of Governors.  He enjoys spending time with his family, athletics, and overseeing the management of a stewardship forest in his free time.

 

Dr. Thomas McCullough

Dr. McCullough is originally from Knoxville, Tennessee, and moved to Aiken in 1990.  He is a 1999 graduate of South Aiken High School.  He attended the College of Charleston where he graduated with a B.S. in Biology in 2003.  He completed medical school at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in 2008.  His internship and residency training in Internal Medicine occurred at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC, finishing in 2011 and joining Aiken Internal Medicine later that year.  He serves on multiple boards in the community and is a member of several professional organizations.  He is also the primary care physician for USC Aiken athletes.  Outside of medicine, Dr. McCullough enjoys playing golf, music, coaching his two sons, and spending time with his family.

Jordan Dawsey, P.A.

Jordan Dawsey is the newest addition to Aiken Internal Medicine Associates. She was born and
raised in Chapin, South Carolina. Jordan received her B.S. in Environmental Health from
Western Carolina University, where she also played on a soccer scholarship. She
received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. In her spare time, Jordan enjoys being outdoors, exercising, being on the lake, and spending time with family.
