Aiken Internal Medicine is a group of board-certified Internists and Physician Assistants that specializes in outpatient primary care of adults with complex medical problems.  Among the common conditions we treat are diabetes, hypertension, cholesterol, heart disease, thyroid conditions, stroke, chronic kidney disease, COPD/emphysema, asthma, arthritis, and other musculoskeletal conditions.  We also focus on disease prevention in healthy adults in order to minimize the risk of the development of chronic diseases.  When able, we treat acute conditions, as well, including bronchitis, flu, pneumonia, skin rashes, and back pain, among others.
